Texas Under Siege: A Deep Dive into Texas Education and National Security
How Abbott, Patrick, Creighton and Morath Sold Our Schools—and Our Children—to Global Powers
Once Free, Now Tracked
Texas was once a land of opportunity, where a child’s potential wasn’t dictated by government created data profile on individuals. Today, under the leadership of Governor Greg Abbott, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Senator Brandon Creighton, Representative Brad Buckley and Commissioner of Education Mike Morath, that legacy is being dismantled. The transformation of our education system has ushered in a model based on surveillance, centralized control, and ideological indoctrination.
In a radical departure from America’s educational roots, Texas is now locking students into government-determined “pathways” as early as middle school. Thanks to federal mandates under ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) and WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act)—and rubber-stamped by Abbott, Patrick, Creighton, Buckley and Morath—students are being tracked into College, Career, or Military Readiness pipelines.
Worse yet, if a student takes a so-called Education Savings Account (ESA) through the state’s government-regulated "school choice" program—their personal data must be submitted to the Comptroller, including their assigned pathway. This is not education—it’s lifelong surveillance.
SB 2: The Trojan Horse of Government-Controlled School Choice
SB 2, which has already passed the Texas House and Senate and is expected to be signed into law by Governor Abbott. It mandates the collection of detailed student data, including College, Career, or Military Readiness outcomes, from any student receiving an ESA (Education Savings Account).
“Student performance on assessment instruments… and the postsecondary educational and career outcomes of students.”

This legislation represents the culmination of a long-term strategy to convert Texas into a fully integrated node in the federal education and workforce tracking grid, as outlined in ESSA and WIOA.
“If I voted against it, I would have had every statewide and national political figure against me… all of my bills and appropriations were at risk.”
— Anonymous Texas House Republican
Abbott and Patrick bullied their way through this legislative session. This is not a success. This is legislative tyranny. If our elected representatives refuse to expose what is happening under the pink dome in Austin, they must be exposed publicly and held accountable not only at the ballot box but at every town hall and community forum.
The Path That Got Us Here: A Timeline of Education Policy Capture
Follow the Legislation, Follow the Money
The “school choice” con didn’t happen overnight. Abbott and Patrick’s fingerprints are all over legislation that transformed Texas schools into data collection hubs:
2011 - SB 6
Allowed instructional materials to bypass 100% TEKS compliance.
Opened Texas to Common Core-aligned materials.
Permitted Permanent Education Fund (PEF) to be used for online learning.

2012 - SB 1557

Abbott's A–F Scam and the Weaponization of Accountability
TEA inflated the number of “failing” schools by 240% in one year.
Texas courts initially blocked the ratings, citing unfair manipulation.
Abbott-appointed judges overturned that ruling.
“This is not accountability. It’s a political stunt.”
— Texas School Board Member, 2024
Where is the A-F rating on Abbott, Patrick, Creighton Buckley and Morath? They are failing our children, our schools, and our communities.
As Diann Woodard stated in her Huffington Post article: “I’m reminded of a friend who used to say, ‘There’s money in poor people.’ When I first heard it, I didn’t quite understand what she meant. But as the number of the profit-driven schemes proliferate – always promoted in the name of helping guarantee that every child receive a quality education – her meaning is getting clearer all the time.” She continued, “Public schools are in crisis, not because they are failing but because they are being set up to fail.”
As I wrote back in 2015… After listening to Lt. Governor Dan Patrick’s press conference on education, I sent a note to a friend and said, “Hey, were Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Sen. Larry Taylor channeling Progressive Education Reformer Ted Sizer?”
As Breitbart’s Bob Price noted at the time: “Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick opened a press conference on education by saying that nearly 150,000 students were trapped in over two hundred schools that were failing their students and parents.” Patrick then introduced Senator Larry Taylor, chairman of the Senate Committee on Education, who said, “Some of the schools are not getting the job done.” He emphasized that education should not be a partisan issue and declared, “It is vital for lawmakers to bring all Texas students into the 21st Century by removing roadblocks and encouraging innovative and transformative learning tools. Embracing change is not a choice. Texas students and parents demand it.”
That change? Full-scale workforce development indoctrination. Under HB 5, all seventh and eighth graders now receive college and career-readiness courses tailored to regional economic needs—shifting the purpose of education from knowledge to labor production.
When conservative Republicans start sounding like radical progressive educators, it’s time to start asking serious questions. Texas schools are failing because Texas officials made it so—through legislation like HB 5, professional development like CSCOPE, and TASA’s New Vision for Public Education. Our children are no longer students—they’re now human capital for the State.
The Colony Ridge Scandal: Fraud, Abuse, and Legislative Corruption
Colony Ridge, a controversial real estate development under DOJ scrutiny for predatory lending and illegal sales to foreign nationals, is now being shielded by legislation crafted with the help of its own defense attorney.
Governor Abbott and Senator Brandon Creighton—who authored SB 2—were both involved in promoting Colony Ridge. Abbott even nominated it for federal Opportunity Zone status after receiving a $100,000 donation from the developer's wife.
"The Colony Ridge development in my district has already placed enormous strain on local resources, including schools, roads, and county services."
— Rep. Janis Holt
Source: The Daily Wire - Colony Ridge Scandal
The proposed legislation exempts developers like Colony Ridge from consumer protection laws and shifts liability to loan originators, enabling more fraud, waste, and abuse. As Spencer Lindquist pointed out here:
A House bill and its companion bill in the Senate would carve out an exemption in mortgage origination laws for Texas residential real estate developers, threatening to embolden developments like Colony Ridge that cater to illegal aliens and foreign nationals. The legislation has already passed through the House Committee on Pensions, Investments, and Financial Services but is still under consideration in the Senate’s Business and Commerce Committee.
“It will kill our industry and will make our future resale of foreclosed lots worth a lot less… because we will all be fighting over a few qualified buyers.”
— Scot Campbell, former TLDA Chairman
This scandal proves that school choice and deregulated development are two sides of the same coin: a system built on corruption, secrecy, and financial gain at the public’s expense.

There are also Royal Charter schools founded by Soner Tarim who previously founded Harmony Public (charter) schools. These schools are also called STEM schools - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Those appear to be "good" schools, but when founded by an Islamic man, IDK what they are up to.
